I just completed a two-day road trip from London to Veyrier-du-Lac, France and the very first thing I did was jump in the pool. (see above - listen to those birds!) The second thing I did was Yoga with Adriene. Whatever your ailment, she’s got you covered. Search: Yoga with Adriene + travel (or digestion or depression or whatever... She’s got a 20 minute yoga sequence for just about everything you can imagine. I love her!)
I finished The Husbands by Holly Gramazio and you should definitely read it! It’s a fun summer read - but not so shallow that your brains will leak out your ears. (There’s a fine line.)
Next up: I’m Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself: One Woman’s Pursuit of Pleasure in Paris by Glynnis MacNicol.
If you are designed-inclined, I highly recommend the Ali LaBelle’s substack À La Carte. Much of it is behind a paywall, but the monthly mood boards are free (June’s is below.) Or here she is on instagram.
And I leave you with this poem by Joy Sullivan, from her book Instructions for Travelling West. That first line is a killer!
